Woman's Doctor: As women age, shoulder injuries become more common

Dr. Gregory Gasbarro with Mercy Medical Center said older women see metabolic changes. As that happens, things like osteoporosis can set in.

Gasbarro said osteoporosis can lead to falls, and that is when patients check in with him for a possible shoulder injury. Gasbarro said he sees a lot of clavicle fractures.
